Delete your account

How to request deletion of your PixelPano account or your whole organisation, and what happens to your data.

Last updated: 18 October 2026

This page applies to PixelPano — the web app app.pixelpano.com, the player player.pixelpano.com and the PixelPano Player Android app — provided by Secret Code j.d.o.o.

How to request deletion

Account deletion isn't available inside the app yet. We delete accounts and data on request by email:

  1. Email [email protected]from the email address linked to your PixelPano account.
  2. Use the subject "Data deletion request". In the message, give your organisation's name and say whether you want to delete only your user account or the whole organisation.
  3. We'll confirm we've received your request. If it comes from a different address, we'll verify that you own the account before deleting anything.
  4. We delete the data within 30 days and email you once it's done.

Deleting your user account

When we delete your user account, we delete:

  • your email address, password hash and sign-in data,
  • your membership and role in your organisation,
  • any pending invitations sent to your address.

If other members remain in your organisation, all of its screens and content stay with the organisation — including content you uploaded — so your team can keep working.

If you're the only member of your organisation, deleting your account deletes the whole organisation too (see below).

Deleting a whole organisation

If you want all of your organisation's data removed, not just your own account, say so explicitly in your request. Before you send it:

  • Who can request it: only a member with the Owner role. If another member asks, we'll ask an Owner to confirm.
  • What gets deleted: the organisation and everything in it — all screens and pairing data, screen activity history, every uploaded image and video with its thumbnails, RSS feeds, invitations, and every member's access. Member accounts that don't belong to another organisation are deleted too.
  • Your screens stop playing: paired screens are unpaired and no longer show your content. To remove the cached copy of your content from a device, uninstall the PixelPano Player app or clear the browser data on it.
  • It can't be undone: we can't restore deleted data. Download any content you want to keep before sending the request.
  • Tell your team: we recommend letting members know in advance, as they'll lose access.
  • Leaving, but the team stays? If you're the only Owner and the organisation should keep running, tell us which member to transfer ownership to. We'll then delete only your account.

What we keep

After deletion we keep only:

  • a record of the request itself (email address, date and what was deleted) as proof that we handled it,
  • the emails you sent us, including the deletion request, for as long as needed to handle them,
  • data we're legally required to keep.

Deleted data may remain in encrypted automated database backups for up to 7 more days. These backups are used only for disaster recovery and are then permanently deleted.
